VIBRONICS was established in 2017 and specialises in mechanical testing of orthopaedic implants, surgical instruments and implant materials. Our laboratory is equipped with state of art testing machines required to testing of implants. We have static, fatigue and torsion testing machines from brands like Instron, USA.
We are involved in the development of various novel implants, our research team is continuously doing the literature based risk assessment related to implants failures and identifying the newer risks and developing new testing methods. Our aim is to improve the life of the patient through extensive research on testing methods. Our research team is continuously collaborating with the research organisations like Indian Institute of Technology, CSIR, AIIMS and other top universities worldwide to enhance the research in new test method development.
We are closely working with the various regulatory bodies like USFDA, EC and other countries bodies. This is our main strength, as performance testing requirements have many challenges, for example worst case size selection, sampling, identification of applicable testing standards as per risks associated with the respective device etc. We have extensive experience of new product development and new testing method development. To deal with the USFDA 510 k and CE certification queries is our main strength. We have interdisciplinary team consisting of mechanical engineers, biomedical engineers, biotech engineers and doctors.
